05.31.07  Loren Marjorie Book Kattenbraker

04.03.07  Slimming the live dates pending the arrival of an addition to the family but will still do some here and there including a few summer festivals.  Will be back with gusto after my joyfully self-imposed FMLA.

01.03.07 Some 'over the pond' podcasts w/ my tunes: Contrast Podcast, So the wind won't blow it all away

11.20.06 For some reason I'm getting airplay, press and CD sales in France.  Offer of a possible music festival there this summer.  We'll see what happens.  I speak nary a lick of French and choose my wine based on the artwork on the label so I'm quite intrigued and honored.

11.12.06 Got to share in an amazing evening at the Jeff Buckley Tribute at the Fez Ballroom in Pdx (I stuck a little closer to home this year) w/ an array of talented musicians.  Hopefully will have live tracks soon.

10.19.06  Have a new track on the eclectic compilation Ball of Wax compiled by the great Levi Fuller.  Track is called "Summer Pond" and is available for stream/download on my Songs page.  Here's the liner note blurb: "A tiny horseshoe pond in IL was my childhood Mecca.  Two golden weeks of all things swimming, cracking, reeling, exploding, running, bleeding.  My, oh my times done got comply-cated."

1.07.06  It is absolutely imperative that you check out the amazing debut CD Good Times and Sharp Knives by the Sacramento band Nice Monster (Grayscale Rec)

11.20.05 Had a wonderful in time in Chicago.  The Buckley tribute was sold out both nights.  I was surrounded by like minded and incredibly talented musicians (from NYC to London) and the audience was by far the most intimate setting and engaging crowd I've ever played before.  A podcast from the show should soon be available from i-tunes and I'll soon have a link to the A&E article in the Chicago Tribune.

11.5.05... My tune "Cloven Inclinations" is in HINEINI,  a film by the great filmmaker and artist, Irena Fayngold.  Premiere is Nov. 13 @ Boston Museum of Fine Arts (now sold out but additional dates to be added).

10.17.05... I'm honored to have been chosen to play at the 8th annual Jeff Buckley tribute at Uncommon Ground in Chicago.  I'll be playing two nights, Nov. 16/17  with ~10 other musicians picked from a field of 1,000 or so.  The event begin after the passing of Buckley and honors him, his music and an epiphenal performance he gave at the Uncommon Ground in '94.    Tix are $50 and include a delectable 3 course dinner and proceeds will benefit Old Town School of Music.  I'll play another date or two when in Chitown and hopefully hook up with some IC allstars.

10.14.05... Check out the Ball of Wax Vol. 2 compilation CD for my track "Fence Out."  A great endeavor featuring Seattle area musicians created and compiled by Levi Fuller

9.28.05... I'm happy to be back in the beautiful NW.  I'll bore you with stories if you want.  Rescheduling dates and can't wait to get back playin' again.

9.6.05... Goin down to help out in the Gulf so had to cancel a few dates.
